I’ve been noticing that my nieces and nephews that are in their teen years right now aren’t going through the awkward phase that me and all my siblings went through.

I feel rather jipped.

Come to think of it . . . Most kids nowadays don’t seem to be going through that phase. Is it something in the water or just how an old person sees the world?

    No, it’s probably because we’re all spoiled and have the same stuff as everyone else. Either that or there’s something secret you don’t know….

    It’s not a matter of having the most toys . . . I did too. Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis baby!

    I’m talking more of the awkwardness of growing into your looks. That’s more along the lines of what I meant.

    I see. Well, maybe we just have more confidence. Probably because Barbie is losing popularity with the teenage generation.
